2026 Signature Community: Mesa del Sol
Mesa del Sol is a visionary mixed-use community in southeast Albuquerque, spanning nearly 12,900 acres and developed through a long-term public-private partnership with the City of Albuquerque, Bernalillo County, the State of New Mexico, the University of New Mexico, and master developer Steven Chavez.
The master plan envisions up to 37,000 homes alongside nearly 18 million square feet of office, industrial, and retail space, creating a balanced environment where people can live, work, and connect.
Major economic anchors already call Mesa del Sol home, including Albuquerque Studios—expanded by Netflix—and Fidelity Investments.
The community also features thoughtfully designed parks, trails, schools, and civic spaces, including the LEED-certified Aperture Center.
